May 15, 2020 · These are on the bottom of a sunfish I just acquired. They look like someone already tries to repair them. Are they just cosmetic concerns or would they cause the boat to leak? What is the easiest method for repair if needed- epoxy? Fiberglass repair kit? Or something else?

He took his time staying for weeks at a time at certain spots on shore along the way. Another account tells of a father and son who took about a week to sail the length of Long Island Sound.

Heading to the beach, don't feel like trailering mine, and having no luck online. (Of course a championships boat from this week in nearby Fort Walton wouldn't be bad, but a basic boat is sufficient for my goofing around.) Thanks!

Aug 11, 2015 · My Father purchased a Sunfish in NJ in 1977, after a few years of use it sat unused in his back yard in NJ before he moved to Florida. During the time it was in use in NJ there was no requirement to register the boat and so it was never registered. Currently Sunfish Sailboats are supposed to be registered in NJ.
