Martyn Thomas Waghorn (born 23 January 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward. He is a former England under-21 international. Waghorn had been with Sunderland since the age of eight and made his first-team debut for the club in December 2007, against Manchester United, at the age of 17.
