The Touch Bar on the 13-inch MacBook Pro is integrated into many macOS apps to give you handy shortcuts for the tasks you do most, based on your current app and activity. Use familiar gestures—like tap and swipe—in the Touch Bar while you work.

If your Mac has a Touch Bar, use the options in Touch Bar settings to change the behavior of the Touch Bar and Control Strip. To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Keyboard in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then click Touch Bar Settings.

In an app, choose View > Customize Touch Bar. Add, rearrange, or remove buttons in the Touch Bar. To switch between changing buttons for the current app and the Control Strip, just tap the Touch Bar. (You can’t customize buttons for all apps.)
