After the phase-1 inauguration of the renovated building on 21st February 2022, now the Bhaktivinode Asan has been made available for darshan of the general public and devotees from all over the world. Presently it is functioning as a small preaching center under ISKCON, Kolkata temple. We have Sri Sri Gandharvika Giridhari deities here.

The temple will get tremendous benefit from an expanding, enthusiastic, and supportive congregation. The small Bhakti-vriksha groups augment all the temple programs—Sunday Feasts, festivals, classes, and kirtanas. The Deities and Their worship are naturally the center of the Vaishnava community.

ISKCON Kolkata is currently driving to acquire at least 1.5 acres of land around Srila Prabhupada’s birthplace. This will be done in six phases and will enable all of us to make a befitting memorial.

The first Rath Yatra of ISKCON in India was celebrated in Kolkata on 12th July 1972. The Rath Yatra procession began from 3C Albert Road and culminated at Mallick’s Thakurbari at 12 M.G. Road. Hundreds of thousands of people participated in this wonderful event.
