Aug 28, 2006 · Honestly, it works unbelievably well. I bought the white reflective tape at my local farm & ranch store, and it came in 2" strips that were 2 feet long. I just cut about 7 or 8 pieces that were 2"X1" and wrapped them around my fishing pole. I put 7 or 8 pieces on each pole so that I can see the top 2 feet or so of the rod well in the dark.

Apr 16, 2009 · I use shot 3ft. pvc pipes and push them about 2ft. into the ground. i use 113lb. rope pretty much to tie to the pvc, as for catching anything, i havnt, then agian, im in a creek most the time, so that is probaby why. Sounds like they may have a nibble with you. lol On the serious side though, it may have it's place in fishing.
