Orioles pitcher Zach Eflin, who exited Saturday’s start, has been placed on the 15-day injured list with lower back discomfort.

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Baltimore Orioles placed right-hander Zach Eflin on the 15-day injured list Monday with low back discomfort. Eflin got hurt Saturday during an 11-3 loss to Tampa Bay. He was tagged for four runs and five hits in one inning before he was replaced by Scott Blewett.

For the second time this season, Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Zach Eflin has been placed on the injured list. The Orioles recalled right-hander Brandon Young, and, according to reports, he will start Tuesday's game at Texas.
