Young India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal equaled Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag as the joint-fastest Indian to 2,000 Test runs, achieving the milestone in his 40th innings during the second Test against England.

Yashasvi Jaiswal reached 2000 runs in Test Cricket in the 2nd Test vs England. At 23 years and 188 days, he becomes the youngest Asian opener to reach the landmark. He becomes the second youngest opener ever to do so.
