West Indies defeated Pakistan by 120 runs in the Multan Test and levelled the two-match series 1-1. Noman Ali's hat trick on the first day of the match went in vain as the home team finished last on the 2023-25 World Test Championship (WTC) table.

MULTAN, Pakistan (AP) — West Indies won the toss and elected to bat on another turning wicket against Pakistan in the second test on Saturday. Pakistan leads the series 1-0 after its spin trio of Sajid Khan, Noman Ali and Abrar Ahmed claimed all 20 wickets at the same venue to beat the tourists by 127 runs inside three days.

The 50-over World Cup is far older and has been competed for since back in 1975. Australia are the record winners having run out victorious on five occasions (1987, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015). England took the 2019 crown after a dramatic Ben Stokes-inspired super-over win over New Zealand at Lord's.

Left-arm spinner Noman Ali continued to prosper on a turning pitch with a match haul of 10 wickets as West Indies slipped to 129-5 on Day 2 of the second cricket test.
