A 4-year-old girl was found safe after an AMBER Alert when she was accidentally taken in a stolen car in Illinois.

Rock Island Police Chief Tim McCloud told TV6 on Friday that he believes Blessing Aoci was held somewhere else for hours.

The girl went missing Thursday morning when someone stole the car she was sitting in. She was later found safe.

Anissa Hodges and her daughter Hailee Showalter were part of a nearly nine-hour search for a 4-year-old girl who went missing in Rock Island earlier this week.
