The Atlanta Braves have designated Carlos Carrasco for assignment only three starts into his time with the club.
The pitching matchup is Hurston Waldrep (2-0, 1.54 ERA) against Joey Cantillo (3-2, 4.11) and that might look like it favors the Braves, but, again, I'm solely going on what I believe is a very simple premise here: The Guardians are the much better team right now and the Braves are due to lose.
But this week the club has added another former Atlanta Braves prospect, this time Jared Shuster, off the waiver wire from the Chicago White Sox. Shuster was selected by the Braves in the first round, 25th overall, out of Wake Forest.
