SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - After eight days, Megan Boswell, a young Tennessee mother, was found guilty on Thursday of murder in the death of her one-year-old child in 2019. Boswell was accused of killing her 15-month-old daughter, Evelyn Boswell, in December 2019. She was reported missing in February 2020 and found dead the following month.

The next step in the case will be to determine Megan’s sentence. Prosecutors have said they would not seek the death penalty.
