The most powerful Mustang Mach-E you can buy today is the GT model. It has a dual-motor powertrain and standard all-wheel drive, a setup that’s rated at a stout 480 horsepower and up to 700 pound-feet of torque with the optional performance upgrade.

Ford has introduced a fully electric NASCAR prototype inspired by the Mustang Mach-E. The model features a tri-motor powertrain and several parts from the current NASCAR racer. Ford Performance has also published a teaser of an upcoming Mach-E Pikes Peak racer.

The prototype is designed to look like a Mach-E, but is actually built around a carbon-fiber tub chassis with components from a current NASCAR Cup Series car, including the suspension, brakes, steering, and wheels, Ford said in a brief statement.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E stock car has three motors and, like the unbranded NASCAR demonstrator revealed last year, uses the NASCAR Next Gen chassis.
