Uganda’s Ministry of Health has confirmed nine cases of Ebola virus disease as the outbreak continues and the first person known to be infected, a hospital nurse in Kampala, has died.1 In a statement on 10 February the ministry said the remaining eight patients were currently receiving medical care and were in a stable condition.
