DL coach Lou Esposito shared what he's seen from the freshman QB and how his legs improve the Wolverines' pass rush.

Freshman Bryce Underwood is reportedly expected to be the Michigan Wolverines' starting quarterback next season. According to Pete Nakos of On3, Underwood is "trending toward" winning the starting job after committing to Michigan in November.

Underwood was compared to a Wolverines legend and national championship winner by star defensive back Zeke Berry recently. "We haven't had a quarterback like that in a while," Berry said. "I'll probably say since JJ (McCarthy). And I feel like having him out there and seeing what he can do, he's going to change this offense for us."
