Tens of thousands of households have been left without electricity this week after Storm Floris wreaked havoc on power lines.

Video shows a plane struggling to land at Leeds airport, while travel disruption is expected to continue on Tuesday.

The outfall of Storm Floris is not quite over in Northern Ireland with blustery winds remaining throughout northern parts of the UK, according to Met Office Meteorologist Aidan McGivern.
