The chase continued into Riverside County on the 215 Freeway and then to the 15 Freeway. San Bernardino police followed the car onto the 15 Freeway in Murrieta. The driver avoided two attempts to stop him using spike strips, said San Bernardino police Lt. Jennifer Kohrell.

During a one-week period, officials seized four firearms and confiscated illegal narcotics, resulting in 12 felony arrests and six misdemeanor arrests.

Law enforcement officials tried to stop a driver for a vehicle code violation shortly before 5 p.m. in San Bernardino, according to the San Bernardino Police Department. The driver refused to yield to officers and after about an hour of driving through surface streets, they decided to hop on a local freeway.
