Hundreds of volunteers have spent countless hours working to clear the land of invasive, fire-prone plants as the drought worsens island-wide.

Roadworks are set to start on several busy Dunfermline streets later this week. The works will take place on the city’s Bothwell Street, St Margaret’s Drive, Hospital Hill, and St Leonard’s Street.
