Hilliard City council approved the project by a 5-2 vote on July 14, despite objections from city staff as well as the planning and zoning commission.

If you can’t stand the heat, you can still get in the kitchen on the pickleball courts this summer with the launch of indoor pickleball at Retro Fitness in Forest Hills.

In addition to courts, there will also be a concessions stand serving light snacks, energy drinks, soft drinks, and a few alcoholic beverages. However, there won’t be a proper kitchen or dining area.
