The MTA plans to reroute portions of up to 25 bus routes, some of them in more than one location, during Pope Francis' visit to New York City from Thursday evening through Saturday morning.

Police said the M22 bus was turning at the intersection of Madison and Jackson streets at 11:05 a.m., when the person was struck.
