On the occasion of the Republic Day, Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi unfurled the national flag in Chennai on Sunday (January 26), in the presence of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and other dignitaries.

In his republic day message, posted in 'X' Stalin said, In "this 76th Republic Day, let us cherish the foundation of our Constitution that ensures justice, equality, and dignity for all.

The Tamil Nadu government has announced its decision to boycott the Republic Day tea party to be hosted by Governor R.N. Ravi at the Raj Bhavan on January 26.
