ESPN’s Michael Wilbon and Wendell Smith, who helped Jackie Robinson crack into Major League Baseball, are among those to be honored Saturday at North Carolina A&T in Greensboro.

Abele earned his bachelor’s degree in architecture in 1902, becoming the first African American graduate from what is currently Stuart Weitzman School of Design.
