Daniel Theis, an eight-year NBA veteran, has committed to sign with EuroLeague team AS Monaco, according to Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews.

Players like Luka Doncic, Anthony Davis, Jimmy Butler, DeAaron Fox, and so many other NBA stars are now making their way to new homes. With all these moves, there are many instances of a team winding up with a player that doesn't quite fit with their current squad as a result of a larger deal.

Daniel Theis is considering a return to the EuroLeague after being waived by the Thunder this week, and AS Monaco appears to be the favorite to sign him, according to Greek outlet SDNA.

This season, Theis was with the New Orleans Pelicans. He was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder for cash and a second-round pick. After being traded, Theis was waived by the Thunder. Right now, the former Celtic doesn't have a home in the NBA.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The New Orleans Pelicans traded center Daniel Theis and a 2031 second-round draft pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday for cash. The 6-foot-8 Theis has appeared in 38 games with nine starts for New Orleans this season, averaging 4.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 16.3 minutes per game.
