Music Maestro AR Rahman, who was admitted to the Apollo Hospital on Sunday after suffering from dehydration symptoms, was discharged after a routine check-up, the hospital said in a statement.

Apollo Hospitals had introduced proton therapy at its cancer centre in 2019 and the hospital says that over 2,000 patients from 147 countries have benefited from this cutting-edge technology.
