The Atlanta Falcons have met with six candidates for their defensive coordinator vacancy, interviewing former NFL head coach Steve Wilks and Pittsburgh Steelers secondary coach Grady Brown on Friday.

The Falcons completed a virtual interview with Steve Wilks for the their defensive coordinator position, the team announced Friday afternoon.

According to ESPN senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler, Wilks will interview with the Atlanta Falcons for their defensive coordinator opening next week. The 55-year-old also had a meeting set with the Indianapolis Colts for the same position. Longtime NFL coach Steve Wilks is interviewing for the #Falcons defensive coordinator job, per sources.
