It’s official — the Yankees are bringing back the traditional Old-Timers’ Day alumni baseball game for the first time since 2019.
Garcia was on the Mets 10 days ago. They waived him, and the Yankees claimed him. The righty reliever then made a 2.2-inning appearance for the Yankees on Friday night. They placed him on waivers on Saturday. And on Monday, the Mets claimed Garcia back off of waivers, in a move announced by the team.
