Oklahoma’s run of four straight Women’s College World Series titles ended when Lauren Allred’s walk-off sacrifice fly gave Texas Tech a 3-2 victory in the semifinals.

Texas first baseman Joley Mitchell hit three home runs in the Women’s College World Series. The Longhorns went on to beat Texas Tech 10-4 in Game 3 of the WCWS championship series. Mitchell secured the final out on Friday as UT captured their first national title.
