Despite playing just nine games in a Buffalo Bills uniform, running back Nyheim Hines holds one of the most iconic single-game performances in the Sean McDermott era. Following an accident during the 2023 offseason, his future in the NFL was in doubt.

A former fixture of the Colts offense has returned to the NFL after a lengthy injury absence. On Monday, the Los Angeles Chargers signed former Colts running back Nyheim Hines to a deal. Hines joins the Chargers four days into their training camp activities and will get a shot to make an immaculate comeback from injury.

A fourth-round selection by the Colts in 2018, Hines played his first four-plus seasons in Indianapolis before he was traded to the Buffalo Bills during the 2022 season. In return, the Colts would receive running back Zach Moss and a 2023 conditional sixth-round pick.
