The recall affects ovens with front-mounted knobs that can be unintentionally turned on, creating a serious safety risk.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has received at least 86 reports involving the ranges being unintentionally activated, as well as pet deaths.
The ranges were sold at Best Buy, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe’s and other appliance stores nationwide and online at LG.com.
