SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — A top Russian security official met with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang on Friday and thanked him for the country’s support of Moscow’s war efforts in Ukraine, according to Russian state media.

"After he arrives in Pyongyang, Shoigu is scheduled to meet with Kim Jong Un and other North Korean officials," Russian state media reported.

Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Security Council, has arrived in North Korea, where he plans to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
