Based on Gurman's reporting, the most significant changes coming with iOS 19 involves the software interface. The changes will apparently introduce new looks for icons, menus, apps, windows and even buttons found in the operating system. One of the guiding ideas is apparently to make the iPhone easier to navigate.

Apple is rumored to be overhauling the design of iOS 19 and macOS 16, and based on what's happened before, the changes will polarize users before ultimately becoming accepted.

The last time Apple completely overhauled the iPhone's operating system was with iOS 7 in 2013. It appears as though 12 years has been long enough. Apple is reportedly preparing a major visual overhaul for iPhones with iOS 19,
