Season three started with Georgia still married to Mayor Paul, however their marriage quickly deteriorated as her trial started. Paul ended up leaving the family home and abandoned Georgia. However, after Georgia found Ginny's positive pregnancy test, she decided to use it to keep Paul in their marriage.

During the trial, Georgia is under house arrest, so Ginny and Austin must struggle through the public fallout of their mother’s actions alone, which makes Georgia feel like an even worse mom. The trial and the guilt that Georgia carries are what drive most of the tension in the third season.

The popular Netflix drama ends its third outing with shocking revelations and several open questions for Season 4.
