According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Tampa Bay Lightning have placed goaltender Brandon Halverson on waivers. The Lightning signed Halverson to a two-year NHL contract back on Feb. 3, and he was recalled to their roster. However, he must now go through waivers before he can return to the Syracuse Crunch.
