There’s a new development in a story earlier this month about a four-year-old girl who became the subject of an Amber Alert after disappearing in what police said was a carjacking in the Quad Cities.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 4-year-old girl who was inside her mother’s car when it was stolen in Illinois. The car has since been located, but the child has not, say police.
