After catching strays during The Traitors’ roundtable, Zac Efron is ready to prove that he’s a good actor once and for all. The High School Musical icon is once again partnering with Prime Video for an untitled comedy project where he’ll star opposite Saturday Night Live legend Will Ferrell.

The new, untitled comedy will see Efron as a convict who takes a reality TV courtroom hostage in retaliation against Ferrell’s egomaniacal blowhard judge.

Will Ferrell had already notched his next starring role for Amazon MGM Studios way before the poor reviews for his latest flick, You’re Cordially Invited, hit the internet. However, Zac Efron has now been cast in that same project.
