Aizawl, The Mizoram government has made a proposal to Assam to initiate official-level talks in mid-April on the long-standing border dispute, a senior home department official said here on Friday.
Apart from Meghalaya, Assam has had border disputes with Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Nagaland. More than 150 people have died in these disputes since the 1960s.
