A wildfire near Rowena Crest in Oregon’s Columbia River Gorge has closed I-84 between Mosier and The Dalles. An evacuation order is in effect.

The omission, specifically of the New River Triangle from a map in Caribbean Beat issue 188 (May/June 2025), was reported by yesterday’s Stabroek News, which highlighted the growing public dismay.
