The New York Rangers finally traded for JT Miller on Friday evening. The Rangers and Vancouver Canucks have discussed a trade involving Miller for months at this point. At one point, it seemed as if the two sides had a deal in place before it fell through.

Miller heads back to New York, where he spent the first six seasons of his career, in exchange for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a 2025 top-13 protected first-round pick. Vancouver prospects Erik Brannstrom and Jackson Dorrington also went to the Rangers in the deal. Vancouver’s return was reported by the New York Post.
