More than 4,000 households in Jefferson Parish lost power Friday afternoon, according to the Entergy outage map.

JEFFERSON PARISH, La. — Over 4,000 customers are currently without power in Jefferson Parish, according to the Entergy outage map. It is not known at this time what caused the outage.

It is unclear what caused the power outages, but Entergy's power map says crews are assessing and working to restore power.
