The family behind Casa Corazon has a new spot for its Mexican fare in central Phoenix. State of play: Father-son duo Javier and Ulysses Verdugo last month launched Cien Fuegos at 1550 N. 16th St.

Among the many strip mall joints of midtown Phoenix, Casa Corazon sticks out. The red-painted restaurant is housed inside an old church, complete with high ceilings and arched doorways.
