Once again this week, it’s a three-way tie for the lead atop the Big 12 Conference basketball standings. And while the top three in this week’s power rankings remain the same from the week before, there was quite a bit of movement from fourth on down to the very bottom.

The University of Arizona women’s basketball team (11-7, 2-3 in Big 12) suffered a 79-58 loss to Iowa State University on Saturday, Jan. 11 in McKale Center. This is their second straight loss and third overall since starting Big 12 play.

Iowa State took down Kansas on Wednesday night behind an impressive defensive effort and clutch buckets on offense.

The Iowa State women's basketball team will try for its third-straight Big 12 when the Cyclones play Texas Tech on Tuesday.

Kansas basketball made the trip to face Iowa State with a chance to earn a quality victory. But in Big 12 play, once again the Jayhawks came up short.
