NFL officials drew a ton of criticism for a pair of questionable roughing the passer calls in favor of Kansas City Chiefs' star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, leaving one of his division rivals wondering how to legally tackle him.

Each player made minor contact with Mahomes' helmet as the play concluded, at which point Mahomes tossed up his hands and the officials' flags flew. The reaction was overwhelming on social media almost immediately, though one of the most prominent voices to comment belonged to Denver Broncos star cornerback Patrick Surtain II.

As controversy surrounds a divisional playoff win, the NFL's roughing calls on Mahomes have raised serious questions about how defenders can tackle the star quarterback.
