The Phoenix Mercury's Natasha Cloud, Brittney Griner and Kahleah Copper debuted in the Unrivaled 3-on-3 basketball league this weekend.

There's a possibility that Brittney Griner won't be in a Phoenix Mercury uniform next season. The All-Star Griner is testing the WNBA free agency market for the first time, the Associated Press reported.

During a media availability for Unrivaled, Mercury guard Natasha Cloud revealed her recruiting efforts to Satou Sabally.

Cloud’s public recruiting pitch comes at a pivotal time. Remember that although Sabally is poised to enter free agency, she isn’t entirely free to leave Dallas just yet. Under the WNBA’s core designation, Dallas retains exclusive negotiating rights with her. The Wings recently officially extended a core qualifying offer to Sabally.

The Phoenix Mercury finished last season with a 19-21 record but still made the playoffs as the No. 7 seed. However, the Mercury were swept by the Minnesota Lynx in the first round.
