LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Vegas Golden Knights’ captain Mark Stone is a leader on and off the ice, and he credits locals for making it easy to represent Las Vegas.

Vegas has now won six straight games and is playing its best hockey of the season with a near stranglehold on the Pacific as well as sitting third in the Western Conference and fourth overall in the league.

Pavel Dorofeyev scored a power-play goal with 3:10 left to snap a tie, and the Vegas Golden Knights rallied for their fifth straight win, 5-3 over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Stone recorded a pair of assists and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Wild.

Donato’s breakaway goal gave the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead at 16:15 of the first period. Donato took a long pass from Ethan Del Mastro at the blue line and skated in on Hill, who stopped Donato’s first attempt. Donato picked up the rebound and slipped it past Hill's right pad.

Filip Forsberg recorded his eighth career regular-season hat trick on Dec. 31, 2022 at Vegas. He recorded a five-game point streak vs. Vegas from Nov. 24, 2021-Feb. 7, 2023 (8g-1a), scoring at least two goals in three of those games.

Tomas Hertl scored a goal and the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2. Hertl continued his hot streak one night after netting his second hat trick this year, as he scored his team-high 31st goal of the season midway through the first period to give Vegas a 2-0 lead.

The Red Wings had a hard time stopping the Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl, who had a hat trick Saturday night as Vegas knocked off Detroit 6-3. Jack Eichel had a goal and three assists while Nicolas Roy and Mark Stone also scored for Vegas, which got 28 saves from Adin Hill.

Jack Eichel scored three goals for his fifth career hat trick as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Minnesota Wild 5-1 on Tuesday night. Brett Howden and Tanner Pearson also scored, and Noah Hanifin and Mark Stone each had two assists for Vegas.
