Jonathan India hit a three-run home run in the 10th inning to send the Kansas City Royals past the Cleveland Guardians 5-3 in the first game of a doubleheader.

The Royals and Guardians split a doubleheader while the Cardinals couldn’t find much offense in a loss to the Padres on Saturday in MLB.

Brayan Rocchio opened the inning with a double. Austin Hedges moved him to third with a bunt and Kwan unloaded on a 2-2 curveball for his ninth homer of the season and a 6-2 lead. The homer was the longest of Kwan’s career and his third in the last three games. It must mean his strained right wrist is starting to feel better.
