Kevin Feige recently spoke about the future of Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and plans to recast iconic Marvel roles in the evolving MCU. In a new press interview, he discussed long-term franchise plans and the potential reboot after Avengers: Secret Wars.
The reboot will unify the MCU into a singular timeline, allowing Marvel to recast legacy characters like Iron Man and Captain America. Feige compared the process to other iconic franchises: “They’re looking for a new James Bond. David Corenswet is the new Superman, and he’s been incredible. That’s always how it works”.
