The Vancouver Canucks were on the verge of trading J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers on Saturday, only for the deal to fall apart in the final moments.

The Vancouver Canucks came close to dealing J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers earlier today per a new report.

The Rangers, who began the season as projected Stanley Cup contenders, took a steep slide in November through the end of 2024 and are now unlikely to even make the playoffs. New York is 20-20-2 and sits four points outside of a playoff spot with 40 games remaining.
