Hamas rejected a Gaza cease-fire proposed by Israel this week and called for what they called a comprehensive deal to end the war instead.

Hamas has formally rejected Israel's latest ceasefire offer, saying it is prepared to immediately negotiate a deal that would see the release of all remaining hostages in return for an end to the war and the release of Palestinian prisoners.

Gaza Hamas said early on Friday that it is ready to release all Israeli hostages in exchange for an end to the war. Hamas's chief negotiator, Khalil Al Hayya, added that the group would no longer agree to interim deals,

Hayya, on Thursday expressed the group’s immediate readiness to negotiate a deal to swap all hostages for an agreed number of Palestinians jailed by Israel, as part of a broader deal to end the war in the enclave.
