Ford has issued a safety recall for several popular SUV and pickup truck models due to issues with the braking systems. Around 312,120 vehicles are affected by the recall, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

"The Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) module may enter into a faulted state while driving, resulting in a loss of brake boost until the EBB module completes a sleep cycle when the vehicle is off. This faulted state can also occur when the driver is utilizing an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature," the recall filing reads.
