Metallica and Apple have announced a new VR concert film, featuring footage from the finale of the band’s M72 World Tour.

The Metallica concert film will be available starting March 14, 2025 as part of Apple Immersive concerts. Fans will be able to soak in this new experience exclusively through Apple Vision Pro, a mixed-reality headset developed by the longstanding tech giant.

Metallica is bringing their powerhouse performance from Mexico City straight to viewers’ faces courtesy of Apple. The company said Tuesday that Metallica’s show will be delivered in an immersive concert experience on the Apple Vision Pro video headset on Friday.
