Blade: Mahershala Ali Says ‘Leave Me Out of It’ When Asked About Marvel’s Reboot
Ali has been attached to play the vampire hunter Blade since Marvel first announced the project at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. In the six years since, the reboot has cycled through at least two directors, undergone multiple script rewrites, and faced several delays. So far, Ali’s only MCU appearance has been a brief voice cameo in 2021’s Eternals.
